FO: Thermis

This is a project that really wasn’t on the needles all that long. I think about a week. This is Thermis by Kris Knits. I have knit this before for a gift and wanted to knit this up again for a close friend of mine.  The yarn and buttons were both purchased in Flagstaff, AZ on our trip to the Grand Canyon in 2012.

I decided that this would be an opportunity to practice doing some finishing work on a button band. I had some of this cute owl ribbon in the stash and decided it would be a great addition to this cowl.

I loved knitting this. It went to its new owner this last weekend. I hope she loves it! I think I may end up knitting one for myself in the future.

Until next time…
