The next project I’ve been needing to get started and finished is baby blanket #2. This one is for a little girl, so I wanted to do something bright and cheery! I chose to do the Dream Catcher Baby Blanket that Susan B Anderson designed.
The yarn I chose to use is Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn! It is a super soft machine washable acrylic that just makes for great baby items. I picked out 5 coordinating colors: Limelight, Yellow, Grape, Peacock and Hot Rose.
Here are the first 2 blocks completed. That leaves 23 more to do! I can rattle out one of these a night during the week usually.

This blanket needs to be completed by August 1st so I better get on it!
