Next on my needles will be my friend’s Abrazo shawl as soon as I get the yarn. I’m hoping that will be sometime this month. I can’t wait to see how it turns out. Everyone on Ravelry is saying it’s a very quick knit and the photos of finished ones are just amazing!
I think tonight when I get home and get some housework done, I’m going to sit down and dig out my Shetland Lace Triangle and get some work done on it. I’ll save the traveling scarf for Wednesday Night sit and knit. It’s mindless garter stitch and should be easy to work on while chatting.
Last night I was talking to my family and found out that my Grandmother has cancer of the esophagus. She’ll be in the hospital getting more tests this week to find out the best course of treatment. I’m considering making her a prayer shawl so she knows I’m thinking of her. I’ve never made one of those before, so we’ll see how it goes. If anyone knows of any good patterns that are quick to knit up, let me know.
That’s about all that is going on in my corner of the world right now.
