I have to say this is a much welcome FO this week. I finished knitting this last weekend and let it sit around unblocked in the knitting pile for about a week!
This is the Summer Mystery Shawlette by Wendy Johnson. In the end it measures 56″ across and I believe 27″ down the center. I blocked the dickens out of this object! I wanted a rather airy and lightweight shawlette for cool summer nights (if we ever get those again…)
This was knit with Malabrigo Sock in the Rayon Vert colorway, though this particular skein was lacking the lime/lettuce green that is normally in this colorway. I rather like it though!
I am apart ofย Tami Amis’ WIP Wednesday and FO Friday blog ring! Go to her site to check out other neat WIPs!

It’s beautiful ๐ I’ve had this pattern in my queue for a while, really think I should knit it now – so much inspiration from other people!
The colours are beautiful; it’s quite okay without the lettuce green.
I’ve seen a couple of people making that shawl – it looks lovely; nice choice of yarn ๐
Love it. The shawl is beautiful. Be proud of youself! Great work!
I love this shawlette, and yours looks great. All the blocking totally paid off, its airiness is just magical!
I love seeing FOS of the mystery shawlette. They all come out so lovely, including yours!
Excellent work — the shawl is beautiful. I’ve seen several and your colorway is one of my favorites. I hope you’ll enjoy wearing it often.
Wow, lovely shawl! Gorgeous colorway. I have a couple shawls knit in Malabrigo sock, and they’re SO soft and have held up well.
Very Pretty! It looks like it is light and airy. The color is beautiful!
Wow! You finished that so quickly!
