Alright. I finally have a working plan for this wedding shawl I want to make. I have less than 3 months to get this thing done. I have the pattern. It’s called Forest Canopy. I have the yarn. It’s Patons Silk Bamboo in Ivory.
I just finished my swatch for checking my gauge. It is right on! I’m using size 8 needles. Time to start this bad boy!
Edit: I cast on and have done 5 repeats of the pattern so far. It seems to take about 1 hour per pattern repeat. I have 5 more to go to get to the 10 for the pattern. I’ll see what it is looking like then, and probably do a couple more to make it a bit bigger. I read alot of the projects that have done it said it was more of a shawlette in the pattern form than a huge shawl. It’s looking great too!
