This week I finished up a pair of socks, so you know what that means? New socks on the needles! I knew I wanted to use some of my BMFA that I have hoarded for the next pair of socks. I also dug out my Knitting Vintage Socks by Nancy Bush. I got this book back in October and really love all the patterns and the history she put into this book.
After some deliberation with myself I went for a pair of “Gentleman’s Fancy Socks”. I’m not going to do any of the leg shaping because I don’t really have shapely calve and won’t be making the legs tall enough to matter. I’m through the cuff and have just started the leg. I’m using Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock lightweight in the Mr. Green Jeans color way. I’m loving the greens and greys!
